BEST BOOK YET!!! I am so in LOVE with Mal Ericson, that I am pretty sure he has ruined me for all future fictional male characters! I pretty much laughed so hard I had tears for about half of this book!
Mal is the sexy playboy drummer for the smokin hot band Stage Dive. He is the life of the party and never seems to take life too serious. However, something is wrong in his life and nobody can figure out what it is. He keeps his emotions locked up under that humor of his. He meets Anne Rollins at a party and sees that she is different than most of the women he has met. Knowing that he needs to clean up his image fast for personal reasons, he charms her and 2 days later he is moving in with her. The events leading up to how this all plays out is HILARIOUS!!
Anne Rollins has been Mal's biggest fan since she was a teen and had his posters plastered all over her walls! She never thought she would get to meet alone let alone have him move in with her. They were both able to give the other something in their deal so what could it hurt in helping each other out? Little did either know their world's would be rocked and life would never be the same.
Kylie Scott nailed this book! There is so much humor and I was hooked, and yet she put so much passion, sorrow, and pain in it as well that is somehow balanced out perfectly. Anne was an amazing female character for Mal, and rather than being wishy washy and whiny, she is strong and exactly who a man like Mal needs. They both have pain in their lives, Anne's from her past and Mal in his present. Together they get through it and in the end they get their HEA. I seriously so not think their could be a funnier character than Mal, and I am so excited I got to read his story! I give this book and easy 5 stars, and I hope you all enjoy is as much as I did. I read it in one day because I could NOT put this one down!!
