REVIEW Sexy, Tantalizing, and addicting.....Three words to describe the Knight Series by Kitty French. The first story, Knight & Play, introduces CEO Lucien Knight the handsome, confident, troubled owner of the adult club empire he's built. He meets a married Sophia Black who applies for the position of his personal assistant. From the moment they meet there's an instant connection, which Sophia tries to deny. Even though she knows in her heart that her husband is cheating on her, she fights with the decision on whether to be around Lucien. This story pulls you in when you begin to wonder if Sophia is going to make the decision to begin a relationship with the gorgeous billionaire. By the end you wonder why Lucien has the view of not believing in relationships or marriage. Which in turn you receive answers by the second book. The second book Knight & Stay, begins with Sophia dealing with the leaving her cheating husband and staying away from the addiction Lucien Knight. She has to make the decision to stay in her marriage or give herself a chance to see where a relationship with Lucien may head. This books gives more answers on why Lucien is dead set on not being in a relationship and if whether being with Sophia is worth the risk. You get to see whether they decide to make the journey to be together. This one has more emotional depth, especially with Lucien. The third book Knight & Day adds the story of Sophia's best friend, Kara. We meet Kara while she helps Sophia in her journey with Lucien in the first two books. When her relationship goes bad, Lucien and Sophia try to get her away to move forward in her life. When she agrees she ends up meeting the new club manager, Dylan Day. Together they realize they have a strong attraction they cannot deny. This trilogy as a whole I truly enjoyed. It had extremely hot scenes and humor, but also had sweet, tender moments. The last book added the new addition of Dylan which has book boyfriend written all over him. In the end of the third book, I did feel that Dylan/Kara's story ended abruptly and could have had more of a detailed ending, it felt like it had gaps. Although, Sophia and Lucien's ending was a perfect ending. This trilogy is a entertaining, delightful read!
